I’m just sittin' here on a smooth limestone ledge, lettin' the cool water rush over my ankles while the sun starts to turn the Texas sky into a peach-colored dream. I’ve been lookin' at the way the ripples catch the light, reflectin' on all the lessons life has tossed my way, the sweet ones that felt like honey and the bitter ones that stung like a cedar scratch.
Every bit of it was necessary, though, because it taught me the law of the land: you truly do get out exactly what you put in. If you plant seeds of kindness and pour a little love into the soil every day, the harvest is gonna be beautiful. But if you hold onto your thorns, don't be surprised when life pokes back. I’m choosin' to lead with a warm heart and a smile, hopin' the energy I send downstream finds its way back home in the gentlest way possible. Hook'em y'all
