There is a certain kind of peace that comes with watchin' the white smoke curl off a brisket while the world just slows

I’m settled right here in my favorite rockin' chair,. The smoker is doin' its slow magic, and seein' that steady roll of blue-white smoke makes me realize that the best things in this life simply cannot be rushed. I’ve been sittin' here thinkin' on everything the universe has thrown my way lately, and it’s a whole lot. But lookin' back, I see the faces of the people who never wavered, the ones who stood right beside me through every storm and sunbeam alike. It takes time to build a bond that strong, just like it takes all day to get that meat tender and right. I’m feelin' so grateful and truly accomplished today, just soakin' up the luck of havin' a tribe that stands the test of time. It is a beautiful morning to just be happy. Hook'em y'all
