Story and context
A night-drive track about the ring road at 1am, when the traffic clears and the towers are still lit. Built around a 105 bpm synth and a bass that sits low.
Every song I write about Chengdu is really about a specific hour. This one is the hour after a show, driving south with the windows half down and nobody on the road. The visuals for this one are the ones I am proudest of: the whole stage flexes on the kick, and the lights follow the pitch of my voice.
