30 x 30 cm oil and metallic acrylics on ink wash paper fused to board with oil and metallic acrylics floral overlay
This Big Leaf Floral Abstract is one of only 2 paintings where Matt Vegh used his go-to large format palette knife to create one of the leaves of the impasto floral leaf pattern overlaid on the floral background: hence the Big Leaf in the name. Usually, he uses his little knife when creating the floral overlays. It was created in May of 2019 and sold the day it was completed to a collector in Chengdu.
