Soul Script II

Professor Wang Chang Ning is a pillar of the Sichuan Art Community and owns three gallery locations north of Chengdu, with his main studio in the famous town of Shifang. Matt Vegh has toured his works in Canada and this piece was acquired through an artist exchange for Matt Vegh's "A Tropical Lagoon" which is a sister painting to "Aquatica", which achieved the 3rd highest hammer price for a painting at the Shanghai Bellagio CEO ART Auction in Spring 2021.
