Mosaic 350

In 2019, a passionate collector from Dunfermline, Scotland (already the owner of two of my floral abstract works) commissioned this true one-of-a-kind Mosaic piece with 350 individual 2×2 cm tiles, each hand-cut from more than 20 different “mother” canvases as part of my "mining" and inkwash layering process. Every single tile, hand-selected, hand-trimmed, and hand-laid by my own hands.

The result: a shimmering energy portal that changes with every angle and light source.

Sold for $2,800 USD equivalent in 2019 with a similar sized Mosaic selling for $12,000 USD equivalent in 2021.
