Conversations Above the City

The wind at the summit of Mount Royal has a way of clearing the static from a long day in the studio.
Standing on Mount Royal today, looking over Montreal, I kept wondering what direction my life is slowly moving toward. Art will always be part of me, but lately I’ve been thinking about the different ways people try to understand the world.

Could it be geography, understanding how places shape people, movement, and identity?
Could it be archaeology, uncovering stories, traces, and fragments left behind through time?
Or maybe something else entirely that I haven’t discovered yet.

Sometimes, the clearest conversations happen silently, within ourselves.

Maybe growth isn’t about choosing a fixed path immediately.
Maybe it’s about standing still for a moment, listening carefully, and being open to the possibility that there are still new roads waiting to be explored.

Looking out from such a height, you realize that the most important map isn't drawn on paper, but is found in the patient silence of letting your own story slowly rise to meet the landscape waiting below.
