Mosaic 2016 is an experimental piece from the time Matt Vegh was creating his showpiece Mosaic CryptoCurrency, which is the true OG Phygital artwork of Web3. It predated CryptoKitties and CryptoPunks and should eventually take its place in the true annals of the history of phygital artwork once researchers and so-called experts decide to be honest with themselves and the greater art world. This piece went to a major holder of Confluence NFT's who holds over 500 of them and has now collected at least 8 of Matt Vegh's physical artworks with more on the way in late 2026.
