60 x 120 cm layered acrylic wash interspersed with heavy medium oil on board
Matt Vegh rarely does acrylic-only works of art. This one is a bit of a hybrid with a mix of oil mediums to provide depth. Created in the front patio area of his Guanghua studio, which was his second large format creation space, when the back patio had too much going on. He would go back and forth between the two between the drying layers. Untitled as of yet, it was created in 2021, but has sat in storage for 5 years and will make its public debut at Matt Vegh's November 2026 Exhibition at the Wei Han Art Gallery in Xinjin, Sichuan Province, China.
