Aquatica

Aquatica was the 2nd attempt by Canadian Artist Matt Vegh to create paintings for a new abstract landscape series to appeal to the Canadian market and it was completed on February 24th, 2021 and then it was sold June 19th, 2021 at the Shanghai Bellagio CEO Art Auction to an executive of a major IT company in China for $30k USD equivalent and was the 3rd highest hammer price of the evening. There are 3 siblings to this painting, one of which has been collected by an Art Professor in Xindu, China and the other two sit in the studio gallery in Chengdu.
