Story and context

A ballad written at 2am in a car park at Dujiangyan after watching the bioluminescent "blue tears" on the water. My favourite of my own songs.

I drove out to Dujiangyan alone on a night off, sat by the river until the blue came up on the water, and wrote the whole thing in the car park with the heater running. K哥 wanted to change the chorus. For once, I won.

It is the quietest thing I have released and the one I get the most messages about. There are no visuals for it live. Just a light and a mic.
