Story and context

A comic series (manhua) about a singer in a slightly future Chengdu who has a second self. People assume it is fiction. I let them.

I write the story beats and a friend from art school draws it. The singer in it has blue hair, a stubborn producer, and a habit of seeing the city as data at night. Some of it is invented. Some of it is not, and I am not telling you which.

It is the closest I have come to explaining something I do not fully understand myself.
